Birth Control RECALL Due To Packaging Error

URGENT! The FDA issued a recall of certain birth control due to a packaging error that may cause those prescribed the medication to take a wrong pill. According to the FDA, the pills may have been placed in the wrong spot in the packs. This could result in a placebo pill being taken on an active day or vice versa.

If you're familiar with BC, then you know if you don't take the pills in the specific order, you could be in serious trouble.

If you are concerned that your Birth Control may be recalled, the medications and lot #'s are the ones in question. Drospirenone and Ethinyl Estradiol Tablets with the following lot numbers:

  • 7DY008A
  • 7DY009A
  • 7DY0010A
  • 7DY0011A
