Today a brand new food pantry launched on Skid Row in California. However, this one is a little different than the usual food pantry. This one is solely for animals. According to NBC Los Angeles, this pantry will allowed unhoused people to get free food for their dogs or cats living on the streets with them.
They're calling it "The Dog Food Pantry" but they will also provide "adequate, consistent nutrition" for cats as well. This pantry is setting up shop at the Skid Row Community Refresh Spot at 544 Towne Ave.
