Just like humans, each of the 50 states has its very own virtues and vices. Based on new data, New Mexico has the nation's worst drug problem, and it's no surprise that Nevada would be the most gambling-addicted.

It's clear that some states are more sinful than others, and to determine the states that give in to their devlish desires most of all, WalletHub compared the 50 states using 55 key indicators of "immoral or illicit behavior."

According to their site, "our data set ranges from violent crimes per capita to excessive drinking to the share of the population with gambling disorders."

The first most sinful state is Nevada, followed by Louisiana, California, and Florida.

The sinfulness of Florida (1=Most Sinful; 25=Avg.):

5th – Jealousy

4th – Lust

4th – Vanity

19th – Laziness
