There is a popular side item on Chick-fil-A's menu that is getting a "fond farewell."
Beginning April 3, the popular side salad will no longer be available on Chick-fil-A menus nationwide, according to a flyer from the company.
"We want to continue providing you the quality food and service you've come to expect, so we've had to make some hard choices about what we continue to offer on our menu," the fast-food company explained.
The restaurant noted that it is always innovating to find the next favorite menu items and is working on some new ideas.
Many fans of the fast food establishment voiced their opinions on social media, curious as to if another "green" option will become available in its place.
