A former Disney Channel star, best known for his starring role in "That's So Raven" and movie opposite Damon Wayans in "Major Payne", Orlando Brown is set to undergo a mental evaluation following a series of strange behavior and a recent arrest.

According to court documents filed by Brown’s lawyer, an assessment has been requested to see if the actor, who starred as Eddie Thomas in the hit Disney show “That’s So Raven,” is competent to stand trial, TMZ reported.

On December 22 of last year, 35-year-old Brown was busted in Ohio and charged with aggravated menacing, which is a first-degree misdemeanor.

Brown pleaded not guilty, however, TMZ reported that the results of his mental evaluation has the potential to sway his plea by reason of insanity.

The child actor was released from custody last Friday (2/2/23) after posting a $25,000 bond and remains on house arrest.

The arrest occurred after sources say the actor was involved in a heated exchange with a victim named Matthew, who had claimed that Brown had threatened him with a knife and hammer.

All of this occurred just 4 years after he sat down for an interview with Dr. Phil McGraw, and what turned into an intervention after Brown faced a slew of charges including burglary, drug possession, resisting arrest, and domestic battery.

In May of 2018, the child star got his former “That’s So Raven” co-star Raven-Symoné’s face tattooed on his chest, which alarmed fans.

Just one month before the bizarre tattoo, bounty hunters bearing warrants caught Brown in his boxers hiding in a closet at an unidentified person’s home.
