YouTube star MrBeast has touched the lives of 1,000 blind people in a way they never thought could be possible.
On Friday (1/27/23), the social media star released a video promising to help 1,000 blind people see the world in a new light and cure "1,000 people's blindness."
In the video, we see MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, with blind or nearly blind people who had complimentary cataract removal surgery thanks to MrBeast.
The 24-year-old YouTuber teamed up with Jeff Levenson, an ophthalmologist and surgeon in Jacksonville, Florida, whose Gift of Sight program offers free cataract surgery to those who are legally blind and uninsured.
If you haven't seen any of MrBeast's videos, he made over $54 million in 2021 for the video stunts he posts on YouTube, and it looks like he's doing some good with all that money!
