All the makeup in the world can't cover up a lie, Amber Heard. The actress has been called out by a popular cosmetics company, Milani Cosmetics, which has suddenly found itself at the center of the Amber Heard vs. Johnny Depp defamation trial.
Johnny Depp is currently suing his ex-wife Heard for $50 million in a highly publicized defamation lawsuit over a 2018 piece Heard wrote for The Washington Post which has affected Depp's work.
Both sides have revealed many private details of both their marriage and divorce, including the makeup Amber allegedly used to cover bruises that she claims were inflicted by Depp before filing for their 2016 divorce.
During the trial, Heard's lawyer, J. Ben Rottenborn displayed Milani Cosmetics' All In One Correcting Kit, which he said was the makeup Amber used to cover her bruises.
According to Yahoo, Rottenborn said, "She became very adept at it. You're going to hear the testimony from Amber about how she had to mix the different colors for the different days of the bruises as they developed in the different coloring and how she would use [this] to touch those up to be able to cover those."
Milani Cosmetics has since weighed in on Amber and her lawyer's claims in a TikTok that has gone viral.
The viral video is aptly set by some sneaky spy music and the company then points out that its All In One Correcting Kit was not even released until 2017.
They captioned the TikTok, "You asked us . . . let the record show that our Correcting Kit launched in 2017!" And in the comments section, the cosmetics company wrote, "We are here to provide the facts of the case."
