With this being the 10-year anniversary of Sunset Music Festival,  Sunset Events came prepared to provide all attendees with the most fun, yet safe concert experience.

The mission was clear from the start; for all concert lovers to feel safe and be able to have the best possible time at the event. Whether you came alone or with a big group, Team Sunset was accommodating to everyone that entered the Raymond James Stadium grounds.

Sunset Events didn’t disappoint fans with the artist lineup. The SMF app displayed important information to attendees and the interactive schedule allowed fans to create their own custom schedules to keep track of their favorite artists.

Some Great Sets From The Weekend:

Trivecta

Day 1 of Sunset Music Festival ‘22 started with the Ophelia Records Artist & Tampa Local “Trivecta” on the Sunset Stage. Having just recently released his debut album “The Way Back Up”, Trivecta instantly had fans singing along to his brand new songs. Last year at SMF, his set was shut down right after starting because too many fans rushed into the Cooldown tent. This year I managed to meet Sam, Aka Trivecta backstage and the guy was as awesome as his music. Trivecta’s set was a fantastic way to start the three day festival.

Zeds Dead

Day 2 of SMF ended with Zeds Dead. The legendary Canadian dubstep duo came down to Tampa and performed an outstanding set. The duo are considered seasoned vets in the Edm world and they did not disappoint at all. Their set was full of great dubstep drops and I loved when they played a few Skrillex songs since Skrillex was a last-minute cancellation for SMF ‘22.

Evalution

Day 3 of Sunset Music Festival started with the Tampa Local “Evalution”. We were lucky enough to be invited to his afterparty the night before for a sneak peek of his set and some unreleased music. Evan debuted a new song towards the end of his Sunset set that features Chris Sgammato, who played the saxophone, while Evalution played the electric guitar.

Dabin

Sunset Music Festival ended for me with a melodic set from Dabin. Having just flown in from the Gorge, Dabin was rushed on stage without conducting a sound, light, or guitar check, and performed his first-ever headline slot for a festival. With many songs that leave fans feeling very emotional, Dabin came through Tampa and left making many fans feel like they just witnessed the best set of the weekend.

Food and Merchandise:

There were plenty of food vendors available, including some food trucks from the Tampa area. Local restaurants were able to become vendors like “Cosmic Charlies” and “New York New York Pizza”. You could find Redbull being handed out all over the event and Zephyrhills was being given out to the fans near all front stages.

There was plenty of Sunset merchandise and Artist merchandise available at the merchandise tent, with most sizes available all three days of the event. Throughout the venue, you can find vendors selling various clothing items, various accessories, and vaping items.

With the festival now over and attendees returning home, Sunset Music Festival ‘22 was a festival to remember forever. The event felt like the safest festival I’ve been to yet, which allowed attendees to be free, enjoy themselves, and live without worry at a being at large attendance event. The 10th anniversary of Sunset Music Festival was one of the best festivals since the pandemic. We can't wait until the next Sunset Music Festival in beautiful Tampa.
