Governor Ron DeSantis has released the names of more than 300 nursing homes and assisted living facilities in Florida where staff or residents have tested positive for the coronavirus.
They include 36 in Palm Beach County.
There is at least one facility in 45 of the state's 67 counties. Miami-Dade has the most of any in the state at 54, while Broward has 39.
The governor last week deployed the National Guard to nursing homes and assisted living facilities across the state for preemptive COVID-19 inspections. Over the weekend, he said those efforts would be ramping up.
