53rd show of 2018 #Kelsi100Concerts
100 concerts in one year...the challenge is on! If you have no idea WTF I'm talking about, click here for the full scoop. Damn was it hot last night! Summer is here and that means you're going to melt at any outside concerts in South Florida. It ended up raining earlier in the day but the skies cleared up just in time for the show. My night started by jamming out with the Pixies! They have been around for years and after their set, they had a standing ovation.
Then, it was time for WEEZER! They kicked it off with one of their classics and totally had the crowd on the first note. The love this crowd had for Weezer was admirable. Every lyrics was sung by thousands and thousands of fans and at times you couldn't even hear Rivers.
That night old school vibes took over and it was a freaking amazing way to start the show! Weezer came strong with all the classics and had everyone's heart in the first 10 minutes.
I think this was my 3rd or 4th time seeing Weezer and I almost forgot how many good songs they have. Sure, they look nerdy but you know their songs are incredibly catchy and the solos are pretty sweet.
Thank you Weezer for a night of good music and all those nostalgic feels! Below are some photos I took during their concert at Coral Sky in West Palm.
