A judge has ordered Tekashi 6ix9ine to be released from jail immediately citing his asthma puts him at greater risk to contract Coronavirus.
U.S. District Judge Paul A. Engelmayer made the ruling on Thursday saying, “In light of the heightened medical risk presented to Mr. Hernandez by the COVID-19 pandemic, there are extraordinary and compelling reasons to reduce Mr. Hernandez’s sentence,”
Originally 6ix9ine was expected to be released July 31 but now will be released early and have to wear an electric monitor while staying on house arrest.
