Lashana Lynch Is Set To Be The Next 007

Captain Marvel’s Lashana Lynch is officially set to become the first female 007 in upcoming ‘Bond 25’ movie

Loving all these changes to characters making them more inclusive to fans everywhere. We recently saw the Halle Baily cast as the little mermaid and now an iconic character in the cineamatic world wild be doing the same.

James Bond fans have recently been asking for 007 to be either black or female and for a while there were rumors that it would be Idris Elba. However all those requests have been answered. 007 is about to be played by a black woman, according to a report on Sunday.

British actress and star from Captain Marvel, Lashana Lynch, 31, will be introduced as the new 007 in what is being described as a ‘popcorn-dropping moment’ in the franchise’s 25th movie that is currently being filmed!

Don't freak out though! It's not a complete make over or do over. She's not going to be "Jane Bond" or anything like that but rather she will just be taking his secret agent number after James Bond Retires.

Bond himself will still be played by Daniel Craig, and according to an insider,

"Bond, of course, is sexually attracted to the new female 007 and tries his usual seduction tricks, but is baffled when they don’t work on a brilliant, young black woman who basically rolls her eyes at him and has no interest in jumping into his bed,”

The insider called it a “pivotal scene” when Bond is called back from retirement and introduced to Lynch as the new 007.
