World’s Fastest Lawnmower Hits Top Speed Of 134 MPH

Honda is trying to reclaim the title of "World's Fastest Lawnmower" with a machine they are calling the Mean Mower V2!  The Mean Mower can -- supposedly -- hit a top speed of 134 mph!

How crazy is that?  That's faster than some of the cars on I-95!

Now... In 2014, Honda earned the title with a mower that could reach a top speed of almost 117 mph.  A year later, some Norwegians won the title.  Needless to say, Honda wants it back!

The engineers took an engine from their Fireblade SP superbike and put it into a lawnmower!  The Honda Fireblade SP superbike gets 405-horsepower, 13,000 rpm, and 106 pound-feet of torque.

That's one fast lawnmower!
