The new wave of food delivery is definitely by drone! The CEO of Uber, Dara Khosrowshahi, is very supportive of this mission and has started working on a drone delivery project called UberExpress.
Uber is currently hiring an operations executive to make drone delivery functional. If all goes well, drone delivery will be happening commercially by 2021.
The reason for the creation of this new technology. Well, the CEO shared it as simply as this, "we [the world] need flying burgers". We can't wait to get our hands on these flying burgers!
