Courtney Salamone is home-schooled but is very active in her volunteering with Sandpiper Shores Elementary.
Some services she participates in involve physical labor from lifting and moving heavy objects to setting up and closing down events at the school.
Courtney also helps in the front office making copies, cutting, and laminating, even while working through her own obstacles of being on the Autism spectrum.
These duties are done while working with the office staff and under the direct supervision of the PTA President.
Courtney Salamone has shown incredible maturity, capability, and personal growth, making her the school’s “shining star”
