4 Ways To Experience Barbados Like A Local

There is so much to do and see at Sandals Royal Barbados, but even more so is what's also available off the resort.

Here's 4 ways to take on the island of Barbados like a local!

1. Check Out Oistins On A Friday Night

Every Friday Night, there is an Oistin Fish Fry, but whether you're a seafood person or not, you still need to be here. The locals and the visitors sit side-by-side in good spirits.

2. Hang With The Surfers in Bathsheba

The local people have to be our favorite aspect of being on this trip! Compared to South Florida, they are some of the most warm welcoming individuals we have ever come across. Also compared to South Florida, the surf here is possibly the best in the world. The locals will be able to show you all the uncharted surfing hotspots and will even teach you how to hang 10.

3. Visit The Local Rum Shops

Barbados is home to the oldest active rum distillery. The country is filled with rum shops where can you sit and chat and drink.

Have you ever been on a #RumShop tour in #Barbados? If so, tell us which one is YOUR favourite! . . . #Adventure #Travelgram #BeautifulPlaces #TravelGoals #HolidayGoals #LuxuryHolidays #VillaVacay #Bliss #Paradise #Beach #Sun #Wanderlust #BlueSkyLuxury #Golf #FamilyFun

You can find a variety of individuals at any of them beaches in Barbados. From the locals to world travelers, you can sure find someone with a story to talk to.
