86th concert of 2018 #Kelsi100Concerts
100 concerts in one year...the challenge is on! If you have no idea WTF I'm talking about, click here for the full scoop! Well you know the moment I heard about Dirty River Reggae Fest in Jupiter I was 100% going. Especially when two of my favorite local bands Spred The Dub & SOWFLO were playing. Unfortunately, my ass was late and I missed Spred The Dub but I did get a chance to jam with Moska Project!
Guanabanas is already a popular place in Jupiter to catch live music but when the 6th Annual Dirty Reggae Festival hit, there was an insane amount of people. In fact, I have never seen it so packed. Tons of locals were hanging out having drinks and just a good time in general. Every band was amazing but when my boys from SOWFLO hit the stage, you know it went to another level.
Just this year I discovered SOWFLO and I'm totally hooked on their music. They're a local band from Tampa and these dudes legit play everywhere. Over the Summer they toured all of the country and even linked up with some festivals. Look, when SOWFLO hits the stage it's like a giant house party. The band has good energy and you can feel it.
Next time you see that SOWFLO is playing near you, get your ass up and go to the show. Trust me you won't be disappointed. Below are some photos I took during their set at the 6th Annual Dirty Reggae Fest at Guanabanas in Jupiter.
Check back and stalk this blog for a year of music and good stories. Remember, I have to average about 2-3 shows a week. You can follow all of my adventures on Instagram & Twitter @KelsiRadio! Well, until next concert.....
