67th concert of 2018 #Kelsi100Concerts
100 concerts in one year...the challenge is on! If you have no idea WTF I'm talking about, click here for the full scoop. It's been a busy week of concerts and last night I went to my second one of five over at my favorite venue, Coral Sky. Just as the sun was setting I strolled up to catch the last few songs from Live & it was incredible! They played their hearts out all night.
For well over a decade I have been jamming out to Counting Crows. Now, I'm not saying I'm a super fan but definelty know a lot of their music. So far this year I have seen bands play with flutes, saxophones, mandolins, trumpets, keytars & now I can add accordion to the list. Hey, don't get all closed minded on me and brush off the accordion. Trust me, you can jam out to it!
During this song there was a couple next to me flipping out on another couple in the next row. They were standing up and the couple next to me was pissed that they couldn't see. Look, as someone who is 5'1 I get the struggle but come on, it's a freaking concert. The day people quit standing up and cheering will be the day the music really dies. Anyway, they were getting savage with the f bombs & I thought you could hear it in the video below but you can't.
Last night Counting Crows celebrated 25 years and Adam, the lead singer's birthday. Personally, I was super stoked to see two awesome bands form the 90's. The nostalgic feels were hitting hard all night. Below are some photos I took of Counting Crow's concert at Coral Sky.
Check back and stalk this blog for a year of music and good stories. Remember, I have to average about 2-3 shows a week. You can follow all of my adventures on Instagram & Twitter @KelsiRadio! Well, until next concert.....
