61st show of 2018 #Kelsi100Concerts
100 concerts in one year...the challenge is on! If you have no idea WTF I'm talking about, click here for the full scoop. Yep, it's my second time around with Bryce Allyn Trio! They were my second concert of the year and last time I caught their show it was over at Tequesta Brewing. If you love to just kick back and get lost in the reggae tunes, this is the band for you.
Now Bryce Allyn Trio is basically just the Bryce Allyn Band but slimmed down. You know, so they can hit ya with those intimate jams. Honestly, this group is insanely talented. The drummer Ryan, is a true master of his craft. He can handle any style and go all out or slim it down to just a snare drum and cymbal. If you're a musician you will truly appreciate Mike Kerr, the guitarist. Give this guy some pedals and a guitar and he will entertain you for days. You will legit watch him and think "how in the hell is he doing that?" Bryce, the singer and rhythm guitarist needs no introduction. If you live in South Florida and love live music, chances are you have already met him.
For over a decade Bryce has been laying down riffs and writing lyrics from personal experiences. As he likes to say, "I'm living and writing the soundtrack of my life... one day at a time." If you are all about that laid back reggae rock style, go see these guys!
Look you know I'm all about those craft beers and constantly find myself at one of my favorite local spots, The Brewhouse Gallery. Once I head Bryce Allyn Trio was playing I headed straight over! Below are some photos I took during their set.
Check back and stalk this blog for a year of music and good stories. Remember, I have to average about 2-3 shows a week. You can follow all of my adventures on Instagram & Twitter @KelsiRadio! Well, until next concert.....
