Even Mother Nature didn’t want to stop the music and dancing from happening at Ultra Music Festival 2024 in Miami, Florida. The rain came and went and Ultra did a fantastic job taking care of the festival grounds and rescheduling many DJs so attendees could still see them perform.

Hardwell
One Legendary DJ whose set was postponed due to the rain was Hardwell. Having played on the Ultra Main Stage a handful of times, Hardwell was a set many attendees came to Ultra Music Festival to see. I had the pleasure of interviewing Hardwell 2 hours before he was supposed to go on stage and he mentioned that he’s been working on this Ultra set for the past 3 months.

Ultimately, Ultra Music Festival managed to reschedule Hardwell to play a Sunset set on the Main Stage on Saturday Evening.

SVDDEN DEATH / MASTERHAND
It seems like any DJ I interviewed on Friday had their set postponed Friday night. Being a member of the unique group “Masterhand”, SVDDEN DEATH was extremely sad when he found out that the trio of Eptic, Space Laces, and SVDDEN DEATH wouldn’t be able to take the stage on Friday night. The team at Ultra did a fantastic job rescheduling Masterhand for Saturday Night.

Besides playing with “Masterhand”, SVDDEN DEATH ended up closing out the Ultra Worldwide stage on Sunday Night. Between screaming his own vocals, mosh pits, and crazy pyrotechnics, SVDDEN DEATH always puts on an intense set.

Trivecta

Fresh off releasing his debut album "The Way Back Up", Trivecta was a MUST-SEE show at UMF 2024. Sam Dobkin, Aka Trivecta, had the crowd going crazy during his sunset set on the "Live" Stage. Between the intense remixes of songs from his album to him shredding on a guitar, Trivecta is an act I will never miss if he's playing at a festival I'm attending.

Mission Home
I had the pleasure of speaking with Vivian from Mission Home at Ultra. Mission Home’s objective is “to protect our home, reduce our environmental impact and inspire our community to respect the planet”.Leading up to Ultra, Mission Home completed 50 initiatives under the objectives of Pollution Prevention, Nature Preservation, Waste Reduction, Climate Action and Community Engagement. One initiative was a beach clean up that occurred on March 3rd.

The beach clean-up is a great way to help clean the shores of Bayside and a great way to earn community service. Mission Home seeks to continue cleaning and waste reduction initiatives year after year to help preserve the planet for future generations.

Ultra Music Festival 2025
When Calvin Harris was closing out the Festival on Sunday Night, the drones created an astronaut and even a DJ mixing decks. At the end of festival, the drone show displayed the dates for Ultra Music Fesitval 2025 in Miami. Tickets are now available for Ultra Music Festival 2025 at ultramusicfestival.com.
