If you were looking for entertainment the night before Cyclops Cove 2, the Cyclops Cove Pre-Party at Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale was the place to be. The night featured performances by Leotrix, Artix!, Calcium, and a crazy old-school set by Subtronics. Also, Revolution Live hosted the After-Party featuring Protohype, Oolacile, Dirt Monkey B2B Sub Docta, and Boogie T. You can find Revolution Live's future events right here at jointherevolution.net.
Cyclops Cove 2 was a fantastic festival that has expanded so much since last year. The festival added an additional day to the festival, which featured different artists each day and ended each day with a set by Subtronics. You could find an artist like Subtronics & Boogie T giving production tips in "Productions Corner" or find attendees relaxing by playing video games in the "Games Lounge". There were plenty of vendors like Eargasm & Sweet Kendamas and multiple places to dress your body up.
I had the pleasure of sitting down with Sam, better known as Champagne Drip at Cyclops Cove 2. We talked about his recent "Time Warp" Tour, and how he's completed almost 60 shows of the tour.
