This is the latest topic that TikTok has brought us: do you have an "old person name"?

If you've never thought about it before, maybe you don't have a teenage daughter to remind you.
There's a mom on TikTok named Amber who is going viral after her daughter told her that she had an "old person name."

According to her daughter, it appears that the once-popular baby monikers of the ’90s are now considered “old people names.”

It's started a discussion about millennial-era names like Ashley, Amber, and Amanda, and whether they are “basically the new Margaret or Barbara.”

Almost as if to prove their point, “classic” names like Annie, Cecelia, and Margaret are slated to be popular in 2024, according to a baby name expert.
