Ed Sheeran continues to be one of the coolest people on the planet and this time he surprised a group of high school students.
GRAMMY-winning singer and songwriter Ed Sheeran made a couple of surprise appearances on Friday (5/19/23) at Middleton and Blake High Schools in Tampa, Florida before he played a huge show at Raymond James Stadium the next night.
Ed Sheeran put on a mini concert for the band students, took a ton of selfies with them, gave them each tickets to his show, and even donated guitars to their music programs.
One video shows Sheeran performing his hit song “Perfect” for the students, then harmonizing with a student singing “Photograph,” accompanied by several acoustic guitars.
The school district expressed their gratitude on their Facebook page, writing, “Times forever frozen still for a group of Middleton and Blake High School students. Thank you Ed Sheeran for stopping by and supporting our students!”
