What was supposed to be a celebratory gesture, turned into a viral moment when CeeLo Green fell off of his horse at a birthday party that was celebrating the late rapper, Shawty Lo, in Atlanta on Wednesday (3/22/23) night.
A video posted to social media from the party shows 47-year-old Ceelo falling off of the steed shortly after making his grand entrance.
One person in attendance was filming the incident and just before the fall, yelled on camera, “Man, CeeLo got a horse in this bitch!”
Ceelo didn’t let the spill kill his party vibes as he quickly jumped back to his feet, smiling.
The emcee even joked that the “spirit” of Shawty Lo “did that s**t” – since the late rapper “is a comedian” and “funny like that.”
Family and friends of the late rapper came together last Wednesday (3/22/23) night to pay tribute to Shawty Lo, who passed away after a car crash in September 2016 at the age of 40. The celebration marked what would have been his 47th birthday.
