One TikToker has some helpful advice to cure your hangover...just dunk your face in some freezing ice water over and over again, and apparently, that should do the trick. Before you call it nonsense, there maybe some science behind it.
A doctor on TikTok recently weighed in with his expertise and explained that this method actually activates something called the "diver's reflex" that snaps you out of feeling like crap, because it basically tells your body to send more oxygen to your vital organs.
It is the same reflex that makes it possible for babies to hold their breath underwater.
If you want to give it a shot, fill a bowl with ice water, dunk your face for 10 seconds, and repeat it a couple more times.
The reviews on the "cure" are mixed with most people saying it worked temporarily and then saying "never mind".
