The internet is tearing up a couple of Disney adults who recently were married. The bride wrote in a since-deleted post in the Reddit feed for "AmITheA**hole?" where she asked the internet for their opinion. They annoyed their wedding guests by not providing food or beverage to their wedding guests, and instead, used the catering budget to pay for an appearance from Mickey and Minnie.

According to the bride's post, the couple opted “to not offer catering services/bar services” at the wedding, which struck a nerve for several guests. One of them being the bride's aunt, and other guests who threw shade at the couple on Facebook, prompting the bride to ask for other opinions.

The bride explains that she and her husband are both Disney Adults going to the parks as often as they can, also calling it a big part of their relationship. She also explains that the bride's parents were helping pay for their big day, allocating a certain amount of money for their catering budget. Apparently, that number was close to $5500 which is also what it costs to have 2 people dressed up as Mickey and Minnie Mouse show up to your event for 30 minutes, $2750, on 2 separate occasions.

The bride and groom decided to forego any food or beverages for their guests so that they could spend the catering budget on appearances for the Mouse couple to be at their first dance, and then again for some wedding photos.

The bride also details that she specified on the invitations that there were “food options” that guests were informed would be available at the unidentified venue, which included a number of vending machines.

This didn't stop the people of the internet for calling the couple tacky and wasteful.

One user commented: "The thought of a terrified maid of honor giving her speech she’s practiced for weeks only to be drowned out by a chorus of fun-size single serving Doritos bags crumpling is throwing me."

Another critic typed: "Imagine thinking having cartoon characters appear at your wedding is more important than feeding your guests. Tacky does not describe it"
