It looks like a Florida woman wasn't the only one trying to beat the heat on Memorial Day weekend. A Windermere, Florida woman captured a video of an alligator taking a dip in the pool in her backyard.
Stacy Guennoun of Orange County said at about 8 a.m. Monday morning, she witnessed the massive gator swimming in her pool after hearing splashing.
Guennoun immediately contacted the Orange County Sheriff's Office which reached out to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission's Nuisance Alligator Hotline.
Unfortunately, the woman was told it would be several hours before a trapper could be sent to her home, and the alligator left on its own before anyone showed up to contain the reptile.
So, hopefully, her neighbors are also checking their pools efficiently.
