Habitat for Humanity has been doing good for years and its journey continues here in South Florida, as the non-profit organization wants to help one South Floridian hero become a homeowner.

According to their site, "Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps people in your community and around the world build or improve a place they can call home."

Applications are now being accepted for veterans and their families to apply to win a brand new Lake Worth Beach home by Habitat for Humanity.

Beginning this summer, volunteers will build a brand new, ready-to-live-in-home complete with a 30-year affordable interest-free mortgage, which will be determined based on the winner's income.

Veterans and their family members can apply HERE but the submission deadline is June 25, so don't wait.
