As opposed to One Direction, it seems like former boy band member Liam Payne is all over the place when it comes to his love life. Especially after photos of the engaged singer with a woman, who is not his fiancé, surfaced on Instagram.
Page Six has reported that the mystery woman in the photos is influencer Aliana Mawla. The pics were initially posted to her IG Story Sunday (5/22/22) and then reposted via a fan account Monday (5/23/22).
The viral images show a selfie of Payne holding Mawla from behind, and a separate black-and-white picture of seemingly, the two holding hands.
However, Page Six reached out to Payne’s rep, who explained that Liam has not cheated and that he and his model fiancée, Maya Henry, “have split up.”
If this is old news, it appears Maya was still caught off guard by the photos, commenting on the post: “I love all of the fans so much but please stop sending me these pictures of my fiancé wrapped around another woman. This is not me and it’s hard enough knowing this has happened without seeing it. Enough now.”
Henry and Payne were first romantically linked back in 2018 after he ended his relationship with Cheryl Cole, with whom he shares a 5-year-old son, named Bear. The couple confirmed their relationship in September 2019 and have been on and off ever since, even calling their engagement off last Summer and then reuniting again.
So is it the end of the Maya-Liam chapter for good?
