The big top has landed! Cirque du Soleil's LUZIA is bringing Mexican-inspired magic to South Florida starting tonight.
Cirque spokeswoman Charlie Wagner says that the show is a draw for all ages.
For the sake of not giving away any spoilers, she says that the show starts out with a host, The Traveler, who drops in from above, landing in a field of yellow flowers.
The Traveler, referred to as an endearing character, guides you through the stories of LUZIA.
The show’s theme is “A Waking Dream of Mexico,” and throughout the performances The Traveler encounters a number of mystical creatures and characters.
LUZIA is interactive, and lively...with colorful costumes, innovative set design, wonderful music and, of course, excellent acrobatics.
Cirque du Soleil's LUZIA is calling Gulfstream Park in Hallandale home now through April 25,2026.
