Seattle native Joe Highsmith is the winner of the Cognizant Classic in the Palm Beaches.
The 24-year old finished atop the leaderboard at 19-under-par after shooting a seven-under-64 in the final round of the tournament at PGA National yesterday.
Heading into the weekend, Highsmith made the cut on the number, meaning had he finished just one stroke worse through the first two rounds, he would not have qualified for weekend play.
Highsmith won his first ever PGA Tour event by two strokes.
He gets $1.65 million and an invite to the Masters.
