Katy Perry is sharing one of the secrets to her lasting romance with fiancé Orlando Bloom.
The "Woman's World" singer recently opened up to People about how she and the Pirates of the Caribbean actor, with whom she shares 4-year-old daughter Daisy Dove, navigate their relationship while busy with their respective careers, noting the importance of knowing how to show affection through each other's love language.
"I've talked a lot about love languages and how important they are in learning your partner's love language, and even if it isn't your love language, tapping into that for them," she said.
As for Perry's love languages, she appreciates "acts of service" and "words of affirmation," something that is also important to her fiancé. "Verbal support is really important, I think, for both of us," she said.
Earlier this week, Perry announced she was hitting the road for her Lifetimes Tour, the U.S. leg of which kicks off May 7 in Houston. She described the upcoming set of shows as a "love-filled spectacle" that not only supports her 2024 album 143 but will be a "celebration of a lot of the songs that people know."
In preparation for the tour, Perry opened up about the pre-show ritual she "always" incorporates that has been a "game-changing" experience.
