So what the best-selling album of all time?

According to a list compiled by BestSellingAlbums.org, the honor goes to Thriller by Michael Jackson. This influential record — which features hits like "Beat It", "Billie Jean", "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'" as well as the title track — has sold more than 66 million copies worldwide since its release in 1982 and has made a lasting impression on pop culture. The short film/music video for "Thriller" even helped revolutionize the way visuals could be and even helped boost the album's sales.

Not only does Jackson have the top selling album of all time, but another of his records ranked in the Top 10, with Bad coming in at No. 5. Additionally, the legendary artist has had his own impressive impact on pop as a whole.

Back In Black by AC/DC, Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd, The Bodyguard (Soundtrack) by Whitney Houston and Bad by Michael Jackson round out the top five.
