Preparations are in place for the 68th annual Candy Cane Parade. This year's theme "Your Favorite Children's Christmas Movie". There will be hundreds of floats, local high school bands and clubs out on the broadwalk for one of Florida's longest running parades. City spokeswoman Joann Hussey says participants will not be throwing any candy out of the floats. The parade begins at 7 Saturday night along Missouri Street and heads south to Harrison Street. Parking is limited so you may want to walk in or use a ride share service.
