Arrest Made In Cold Case Out Of Southwest Miami-Dade

An accused Miami-Dade County killer is caught.

Twenty-two-year-old Joshua Campos was taken into custody this morning by the Manatee County Sheriff’s deputies.

He is accused of killing Demetrius Harris at a Southwest Miami apartment on Southwest 270th Street in 2021.

Campos was wanted by the FBI and Miami-Dade Police Department for second-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon or delinquent.

There was a $10,000 reward for his capture.
