After a long weekend exploring the magical land of Imagine Music Festival, time has come for patrons to return home from this EDM paradise. After waiting over two years for IMF to make their return to Georgia, Imagine brought in plenty of talent and fun activities for over 25,000 patrons to enjoy.
Talent:

Imagine Music Festival didn’t slouch on providing a fantastic line up this year. Between headliners such as Excision, Illenium, & Griz to the Ophelia Records Pre Party and Kaskade & Adventure Club Pool Parties, you could always find a talented artist playing music somewhere on the campgrounds. For the late night partygoers, General Camping even had its own stage open until 6 am! Big names including Subtronics, John Summit, Evalution, and Lizzy Jane came out to this stage.
Interviews:
Kayzo

I had the opportunity to interview a few artists at IMF including Kayzo, Evalution, and Lizzy Jane. Kayzo had just finished his performance on the main stage when we had the chance to chat. We discussed his new album “New Breed” and talked about various songs like "Love Me Hate Me", which has his girlfriend Cray on lead vocals. Also, we talked about my favorite song from the album “Meet Me In The Sound”. Expect a "New Breed Remix" album coming from Kayzo at the beginning of 2023. My favorite part of the interview was getting Kayzo to decide on his next tattoo right at that moment, and he picked one of his pets. You can find Kayzo’s album “New Breed” on all major platforms and you can listen to our chat on the EDM Venue Podcast right here.
Evalution
Evalution is a DJ out of Tampa, FL whose career has been steadily on the rise. I had the chance to catch up with Evan, aka Evaluation, backstage at Imagine. Since the last time I saw Evan, he’s played multiple festivals, put out some big songs, and even played alongside DJ Diesel, aka Shaq. At Imagine, Evan played on Main Stage and had a secret 2 am set at the General Camping Stage that felt like a surreal moment.

Lizzy Jane

On the last day of Imagine Music Festival, I managed to connect with Lizzy Jane. Lizzy Jane is another DJ originally out of Tampa, but she recently relocated to Denver, Colorado. Between recent shows at Bass Canyon and North Coast to playing 2 sets at Imagine to releasing fantastic podcast episodes, all while simultaneously working on a new EP, Lizzy Jane is one of the hardest working ladies in the music industry. Expect an 8-track EP from Lizzy released around December 2022. You can find Lizzy Jane’s music and her podcast available on all major platforms and at this link.
Art & Vendors:

Guests could find vivid and colorful art installations scattered all throughout the campground and venue . On top of the hill overlooking the Amazonia stage & campground were live painters and live performers. Imagine did a great job decorating the stages to resemble aquatic animals. There was plenty of colorful lighting to create a vibe and help you see at night.

Imagine Music festival had over 20 different food vendors available throughout the venue. You could find Da Big Show BBQ, Mobile Taco, Pizza Nova, and Island Noodles. Evalution and I actually stopped by the Island Noodles booth and gave them a shout-out during our podcast interview. It was extremely helpful that IMF had food vendors in the camping area for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Attendees could find plenty of clothing & accessory vendors around the campground. IMF created a General Store for campers who needed additional camping supplies. The campgrounds provided air-conditioned showers and restrooms to VIP and was available to General Admission for a small fee. Campers could even partake in some fun activities like pool parties and even river tubing for an additional charge.

Non-Profits:
One Non-Profit Organization booth that I visited was To Write Love On Her Arms (TWLOHA). I had the pleasure of speaking with Chad from the organization and he informed me that TWLOHA is dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with addiction, depression, self injury, and suicide. The organization was created to encourage, inform, and inspire others to never give up. To Write Love On Her Arms has donated over 3 million dollars to help with treatment and recovery. I loved this organization and gave them my support by purchasing a T-Shirt. You can find and donate to TWLOHA at https://twloha.com.

DanceSafe is another great organization as their objective is to help reduce risks and to support the development of individuals. DanceSafe was selling Testing Kits for partygoers and handing out condoms while sharing information on safe sex. They were even handing out ear protection for the loud music. DanceSafe is a great organization to have at music festivals because they always look to help others out. Find out more information at https://dancesafe.org.
