A dad in Brisbane, Australia was forced to plunge into the ocean in the middle of a marriage proposal, after his adorable daughter derailed the engagement.
Luke Aukuso decided to include his daughter Harpie in the moment he asked her mommy to marry him on a picturesque pier.
That moment became a viral TikTok when the little girl begins to open the ring box.
In the video, Aukuso can be heard saying, “Look at mummy,”
The adorable moment quickly changes to panic as the family watches the ring slip out of the box, through a crack in the pier, and falls into the ocean.
Everyone gasps as the diamond ring falls through the cracks, but Luke sprung to action, kicking off his sandals and diving into the water to save the ring.
His now-fiancee Stephanie updated the internet with some good news to their TikTok, letting her followers know that her husband-to-be had successfully saved the ring!
