Officials in one Florida county captured a rather large alligator that was reported in an unusual location for reptiles, a Wendy's parking lot.
According to a Facebook post from The Hernando County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a report of an alligator "loitering" outside of the Wendy's on Commercial Way in Spring Hill, Florida.
Officers immediately realized they were going to need assistance and reached out to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC). FWC sent a trapper to assist officers with the removal.
Fortunately, no one was hurt during the incident, and according to the pictures in the post, the alligator was successfully wrangled with tape, and removed from the Wendy's parking lot by the FWC trapper.
