After leaving Little Mix last year, Jesy Nelson is preparing to release a new collaboration with the one-and-only Nicki Minaj.

Teasing the new single on Instagram, Nelson captioned a clip of the track with "Do you think they're ready for this?" before tagging Minaj and hashtagging the new track's title, "Boyz." Minaj herself also shared a clip of the track to Instagram, captioning it with "almost time."

The clip features Nelson in a dance rehearsal before sharing a snippet that says, "Ayo, it's the UK baddie and the Barbie." While a release date for the track and more information regarding the collaboration have not yet been shared, fans of both Nelson and Minaj have been going wild and begging for details.

Nelson departed Little Mix in December 2020, then provided hints that she would be going solo last February. The singer had left the group after taking an "extended" break in order to focus on her health. She later shared her exit announcement, thanking fans for all they had done while she had been a member of Little Mix.

While Minaj took a break from releasing new music after giving birth to her son last year, the rapper has slowly been making her way back. She teased a snippet of another new song earlier this month, with fans taking to social media to share their excitement about her return to music. Minaj and her husband were also spotted with Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, the celebrities sharing pictures of their double date on social media.

Minaj was also initially supposed to appear on Doja Cat's most recent record, Planet Her. However, the collaboration never came to fruition as Doja Cat had sent the song "Get Into It (Yuh)," and Minaj didn't feel as though she could bring anything else to the track.
