Beyonce's Dad Claims She & Kelly Rowland Were Sexually Harassed As Teens

Beyoncé's father Mathew Knowles claims a "poor decision" he made led to his eldest daughter and Kelly Rowland being sexually harassed when they were teens.

While promoting his new book, Destiny's Child: The Untold Story, the former manager of the best-selling girl group claimed that Bey and her fellow Destiny's Child member, Kelly, were victims of sexual harassment by two members of Jagged Edge while the two acts were on tour in the early 2000s.

Speaking to Vlad TV, Mathew detailed how he put "both Destiny's Child and Jagged Edge on the same tour bus," which he said he greatly regrets. "Now remember, the girls are minors. They're 16 years old. The guys are 21, 22 years old," he recalled. "I have a fiduciary duty with minors, by the law. There's a certain way I have to manage that."

"I got a call from Kelly and Beyoncé... saying that they were constantly being harassed by two of the members of Jagged Edge," the 67-year-old continued. "I couldn't have that. I literally had to put the guys off the bus in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. That began all of this drama."

When asked how he handled the men trying to "sleep" with his daughter, Mathew replied, "We won't talk about that on camera."

As of now, Beyoncé, Kelly nor members of Jagged Edge have addressed Mathew's claims about sexual harassment.

Around the same time that Mathew was dealing with the Jagged Edge drama, he was also dealing with then-Destiny's Child members LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett deciding to get their own representation.

"An attorney called me out-of-the-blue to tell me that I would be getting a certified letter... to tell me that, at this point, that he was now on an interim basis managing LaTavia and LaToya," he explained to Vlad. "And that they would finally go and search for a final manager, but for now he was the interim manager."
