A$AP Rocky has been found guilty of assault for his involvement in a June 30 street fight in Stockholm, a Swedish court ruled early Wednesday morning (August 14), according to Los Angeles Times. In a statement following Rocky's conviction, however, Swedish prosecutors stated the performer will face no jail time.

"All three defendants are convicted of assault and sentenced to conditional sentences," the statement reads, per ABC News. "The court finds that the defendants were not in a situation where they were entitled to self-defence and that they have assaulted the victim by hitting and kicking him. However, it has not been proven that the defendants struck the victim in the head with a bottle or assaulted him with whole or broken bottles. The victim is awarded damages for violation of his integrity and pain and suffering, but less than he requested. The defendants shall, each based on their financial ability, repay the state for its expenses for public legal counsels."

The statement continued: "In an overall assessment the court finds that the assault has not been of such a serious nature that a prison sentence must be chosen. The defendants are therefore sentenced to conditional sentences."

The verdict arrives two weeks after a judge ordered Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, and his co-defendants Bladimir Emilio Corniel and David Tyrone Rispers be released on August 2 from the Swedish jail where they spent a month in detainment, despite the six-month sentence prosecutors had proposed. After regaining their freedom, Rocky and his two bodyguards returned to the United States while they awaited the verdict.

The 30-year-old star pleaded "not guilty" to assault charges, claimed self-defense and argued he and his entourage tried to avoid the brawl that transpired with alleged victim Mustafa Jafari, 19, and his friend, who the "L$D" star claimed had been following them around. Jafari, on the other hand, alleged the emcee pushed him to the ground as Rocky and his squad kicked an supposedly hit him with parts of or a whole bottle. Footage of the altercation appeared to show the "Goldie" musician push Jafari to the ground.

Upon his return to the States, Rocky broke his silence on the experience via Instagram.
