Another summer-like day shaping up for South Florida with high humidity, temps in the mid to upper 80s, and partly sunny skies.
Once again we are expecting another round of scattered storms and periods of heavy rain continuing this afternoon through mid-evening, with some strong storms possible. Look for heavy downpours, gusty winds, small hail, and frequent lightning.
Storm coverage will stay around 60% today for inland areas and 50% closer to the coast.
Rainfall totals between now and Sunday will likely range from .50 - 1.00" of rain. High temps stay in the mid to upper 80s on Sunday too, with mild overnight lows in the 70s.
