Over 60,000 People Walk Bridge After Ultra Music Festival

Well you can't have a new location without a few bumps! The first day of Ultra Music Festival's new location at Virginia Key was pretty spectacular. The venue is more spacious, layout was pretty sweet and the breeze you get on the key is life saving. Ultra was off to a fabulous start with epic performances by Alesso, Tiesto and Marshmello but at the end of the festival attendees had an unexpected hike back home.

A bus accident on the bridge was the start of the delays and traffic quickly got out of hand. Just after 2am thousands and thousands of ravers were left with the option of waiting hours for a bus or making the walk. Ravers quickly took to social media and started referring to the festival as Fyre Fest 2. Ultra Music Festival apologized and stepped it up on day 2 of the festival.

They got more buses, had better coordination with transportation staff, vendors stayed open later and they even had surprise after hours sets. Some people embraced the walked and didn't mind it. Even though there were transportation issues, it didn't break the ravers spirit. After all it's Ultra Music Festival and it only happens once a year!
