100 Concerts In One Year #34 Foo Fighters

34th show of 2018 #Kelsi100Concerts

100 concerts in one year...the challenge is on! If you have no idea WTF I'm talking about, click here for the full scoop. It's been 12 years since Foo Fighters came to town & as Dave Grohl said, "We have a lot of fucking catching up to do!" Last night's show was one for the books. Believe it or not, I have never seen Foo Fighters. Shame on me for waiting so long....

Boy did they pack the place! The crowd on the lawn was so thick that you could have crowd surfed all the way down. Almost every song was drowned out by the crowd singing along. It was a beautiful thing. I apologize in advance, my crappy recording doesn't do it justice!

When I think of last night's show I can't help but smile. Dave Grohl is a certified badass. Back in the day he was the drummer for Nirvana and well...we all know what happen to Kurt Cobain. Imagine being in one of the biggest bands in the world and having your lead singer die. Most people would walk away, but not Dave. He grabbed his guitar, wrote a bunch of music and started the Foo Fighters. Anyone who can rise up from that and then have an insanely huge new band is a LEGEND! Bravo sir...Bravo

Old stuff...new stuff..the Foo Fighters played it all! At one point during the show Dave even jumped behind the drums. Here I was witnessing freaking Dave Grohl jam out on the drums and Pat Smear on guitar. That my friends is a check off the old bucket list!

On a side note, I was beyond happy to see this show at Coral Sky! This was the first concert I saw there this year and it was a treat. Only 20 minutes from my house and the same place I saw my first concert. Below are more random pictures from the show

Check back and stalk this blog for a year of music and good stories. Remember, I have to average about 2-3 shows a week. Well, until next concert.....
