If you've exhausted Tinder and Bumble with no success, it's probably not you-- it's them.
Turns out, dating app algorithms make it harder for people to match with a partner they would likely be compatible with.
Researchers from various universities asked singles more than 100 questions about what they look for and like in a partner. However, none of the answers to the questions were able to predict how likely two people were to want to date.
"These results suggest that compatibility elements of human mating are challenging to predict before two people meet," they concluded.
