This year, 87% of Americans plan to celebrate the 4th of July, according to the personal finance website WalletHub.
WalletHub released its report on 2023's Best & Worst Places for 4th of July Celebrations which is determined by comparing the 100 largest U.S. cities and figuring out how well they balance holiday cost and fun.
According to the site, they used 18 different key metrics ranging from average beer and wine prices to the duration of fireworks shows, among others.
