Ed Sheeran is a man that seems like he can do anything, and now, he can officially shotgun a beer, thanks to Luke Combs.
On Monday (5/15/23), Ed Sheeran posted a video to social media showing the singer learning how to shotgun a beer with the help of his buddy and frequent collaborator, Luke Combs.
The video starts with Sheeran noting, “for context, Luke is — what’s it (called), shooting?”
“Shotgun,” Combs corrects Ed as he readied his beer can for the demonstration.
Luke starts by instructing Sheeran on the proper way to shotgun a beer and asked whether Sheeran preferred to watch Combs first or to do it together.
After Sheeran opted to go together, he quickly noticed Combs' shotgunning skills are “really impressive.”
“Cheers, mate! 🍻 (Did I do that right? Haha.),” Combs wrote in the comments on Instagram.
Another country hitmaker, Dan + Shay’s Dan Smyers also commented on the video and said, “Not bad Ted!”
