June is known as Pride Month, celebrated annually to achieve equal justice and opportunity for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) Americans.

Fastfood giant, Burger King appears to be supporting the cause, but fans think its latest product may have crossed the line to an unnecessary level.

This month, in Austria, Burger King debuted its new "Pride Whopper" which is just like a standard Whopper, except it comes with "equal" buns. What does that mean? It means you have the option to get it with two top buns, or two bottoms.

The company says it's intended to be a fun way to promote "equal love and equal rights," but the company is receiving backlash online from fans saying that is an unnecessary tactic to capitalize on the cause.

Burger King has yet to pull the promo and appears to be available in Austria until June 20th.
