A wanted man in Palm Beach County could not have made things any easier for investigators when he walked into the police station asking officials to take his wanted photo off of the internet and social media.

According to Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office (PBSO), 37-year-old Moise Dorcelin strolled right into their lobby on Monday (5/23/22) asking for someone to take his picture off of social media.

The man was referring to the photos PBSO posted last week of a man wanted for stealing a cellphone at the Mobil gas station on Forest Hill Boulevard on May 15.

Dorcelin said he recognized himself in the pictures shared by the sheriff's office, according to investigators.

The arrest report states that Dorcelin explained to detectives that he did pick the phone up, but denied stealing it.

Moise Dorcelin was charged with larceny-grand theft and is free on bond.
