After doing a little math, I'm both impressed and concerned for this Florida man who has broken his second Guinness World Record for movie-binging.

A Florida man named Ramiro Alanis recaptured a victorious Guinness World Records title when he broke the record by seeing Spider-Man: No Way Home in theaters a whopping 292 times.

Back in 2019, Alanis earned the Guinness title for attending 191 screenings of Avengers: Endgame, but his record was stolen from him when Arnaud Klein went to see Kaamelott: First Instalment 204 times in 2021.

But determined to reclaim his thrown, Guinness confirmed Alanis took the record when he attended 292 showings of the newest installment of the Spider-Man film series in just 3 months, between December 16, 2021, and March 15, 2022.

Alanis told Guinness, "If anyone tries to break my record again, I want them to think twice before attempting it."

According to Guinness, the organization's rules required Alanis to stay in his seat with his attention on the screen for the entire duration of the film, including the credits! He was never allowed to look at his phone, nor go to the bathroom during the showings.

Now the number you've all been waiting for. How much did it cost him to break the record? He estimates that he spent approximately $3,400 on tickets during the record attempt.
